From classroom to senior leadership and group strategy
A career that began with teaching economics and business in the UK and moved into senior leadership at two of the world's leading British international schools, followed by a year as Academic Director for an education group in Vietnam. Now based in Budapest, working as an independent adviser to schools and education groups.

I work with education groups and investors, schools with international campuses or ambitions, and international school leaders. I act as a strategic thinking partner, not a generalist consultant. No off-the-shelf frameworks or branded templates. No external reports delivered and forgotten. Sustained, rigorous thinking, in collaboration with someone who has been there before, rooted in practice and sensitive to the competing demands of educational ambition and commercial reality. Educational philosophy
Scholarship, integrity, balance
Education should prepare students for whatever future they face, not just the examinations in front of them. Intellectual curiosity erodes when institutions focus too narrowly on results, and academic success must not come at the expense of good character. The most successful schools build cultures where knowledge is pursued for its own sake, and guide students as they establish their own values rather than issuing them ready-made. They also understand that the institution is only as good as its teachers.
